Hi guys,
I hope the past week went well. Here the weather has turned cold again thanks to a stiff breeze and pesky clouds. I have been busy as I started an editor course and I am going through the admin process of a new day job.
Writing update: Unfortunately not much of an update this week. I am making progress in book 2 of the Weatherboro Mysteries,
even though it’s slow going. I am currently working on the plot again and once I have that down, it should go much faster. But I love Jack and Thibault, I am only at the beginning of chapter 4 and I am at 15k words so far. They are being chatty when they want (usually while I shower). Some of the other guys in Weatherboro are getting louder too and I might start their stories on the side once I am done with all the plotting.
Reading update: I have been really into series this week. I read a few of Isla Oslen’s books in her ‘love and luck’ series and really enjoyed it. Another series and its spinoff was the ‘grey coast pack’ by Jena wade and Lorelei M. Hart, I loved it and I can’t wait for the next book in the next series. Yesterday I read a short story by Kiki Clark in her ‘Kincaid pack’ series called ‘A new pack for New Year’ and I was hooked. I finished it and book 1 in the series.
