Hey everyone,
I hope you are all well. Here the weather keeps changing. We had some beautiful days that I was finally able to capture on my phone, as you can see on the photo below. We are still pretty much in lockdown even though some of the restrictions have been lifted.
Writing news: I have stalled a bit on Weatherboro mysteries book 2. Chapter 3 is giving me trouble. It happened with the previous books as well. Chapter 3 seems to be my mountain to climb. Once I am past it, it usually becomes easier to write the rest, but in the meantime, it is kicking my butt. I hope to be done by the end of the week. In parallel I am plotting the next two books in the 'Lovin' Weatherboro' series. One is about Sam and the other about Marcus, that we met in the Weatherboro mysteries book 1. Their love interests are new and will be showing up in book 2. I am working on smoothing out things with George's story before I start with my revisions.
Reading news: I read a little less this week. I stumbled upon a recommendation on a reader group for Eliot Grayson's 'Mismatched mates' and I really enjoyed it. It was full of action, some angst, some hot moments and a great range of emotions. I read three of the four books in the series and quite enjoyed it. I read 'My recipe for love' a sweet pup play book by Ashlyn Mills. I read 'How to love' by Susan Hawke, the last book in her 'lovestrong series', I had read it as a short in the 'Heart2Heart' anthology and I loved getting to read the full story. And finally, yesterday I read 'Lucky' by J. D. Light, I loved that book, it was very sweet and hot, and a nice MMM romance.
That's it for me for this week. Hit me with your recommendations, I am always looking for more ideas to write or to read.
Wishing you all a great week.
